Hi Scottm,
why are you so anxious about the CFE getting robbed? They knew right from the beginning,as from 05th of August, of the eviction and inaccessibility of our properties. They promised to cut off the electricity the week following the eviction, but didn't. If they want to cooperate with Villalobos and the governor, it is their problem. Don't you think it would be more called for to support us with some practical help? After you informed yourself first, which you didn't do, obviously. It looks like you are one of the many who would like to go on enjoying those beautiful beaches, so I invite you to come down here to El Rebalsito and roll your sleeves up. We need all the help we can get and Dobie, who is working very hard, can give you a list of things to be done. Please remember that things work differently in Mexiko than in Canada or the US. Also it is not fair, that those evicted not only lost their investments and sources of income, but have a lot of legal expenses in their fight to get the situation legalized again. So those who also would like to enjoy the beaches, please come and help with practical work and funds for the necessary trips to Mexico, Guadalajara and the legal costs. We have lots of generous donators, but one could hope for everyone to join. We need more car stickers, for one thing. And don't forget: there is a strong tendency to privatize the whole Costalegre, they have already done it with parts of Puerto Vallarta, with Chamela, Playas Negritas, Blue Bay (which was ejidal property), Tamarindo and La Manzanilla and Melaque are the next on the list.
