Toxic Dust

I think this topic deserves its own thread.

There is toxic dust here in La Manzanilla from unsafe disposal of black (sewage) water. The water dries, the microbes stay in the dirt, and move with the dust. The Centro de Salud has been warning people about this problems for years. This is one reason the local residents water the streets by their homes.

There is also the problem of the dormant sewer system, which is letting raw sewage into the bay and there is likely high bacteria levels in the ocean. This is mainly are rainy season problem.

I have to think the sewage is a threat to the crocodiles which are a protected endangered species.

I think all of us would like to see this problem addressed.

I am not sure how to do this. Foreigners organizing politically is controversial in Mexico.

Do we have any diplomats on the Board?
