Thanks for the tone we have here, I worry about even posting due to the sometimes (Hard Response).

I think (believe strongly) the system is not near completion from... street hook ups, pipes, pumps and disposal site these all need to be completed before we are close to "fixed" by US standards. But rough fixes that accomplish the same thing or progress are possible.

The system completed so far in La Manzanilla is an amazing effort to date. But a system well designed and less than 100% complete is not going to deal with "Our" problems. The postings related to money are very very relevant.

My sense (and corrrrect me if i am wrong) is that we still have no pumping system that can move adequate amounts of "Liquids" up to the point of treatment, and "stuff" is languishing at the "turd shake factory" by the New /never opened hotel. This part of the system should be humming along almost day and night if we are pumping out what should be in the lines. I have yet to hear it humm away (but I only did a small sample look). These Pumps are the most completed solution the the problem nearby. Make it run and connect to the poop and we may be on to something. After that hook ups are still not done by any means.

That solved ...if we move it up the system, where does it go ??? on to a good disposal site?I have and idea .. no personal knowledge of the disposal site or design. Mangroves are the best natural or manmade sewage treatment system we could ask for. ...that said it will work well only if done right it is simple and a great system. ... and will not work well for the estuary with poor choices or management.

No matter the budget we can make it better or at least move it in the right direction... how much is still bounded by local limits.

Or not '
