| Caught the Jacobites Pipe and Drum Band this eve here in Venice, Florida, of all places. It was a truly stirring experience...Masterful renditions of "When the Piper Plays", "Road to the Isles", "Amazing Grace", "Lord of the Dance", "Scotland the Brave", and "Highland Cathedral" accompanied by full orchestra. We were also treated to a world premiere of "Pipe Dreams" by Nancy Fawcett. Something about those bagpipes reaches deep down inside me. Must be my Walker blood. |
