Thank you Don! Clearly Villainlobos (oops!) made this offer to make it look like he's negotiating in good faith. The ejido's lawyer is working on a counter-proposal which will be presented to the ejido for their approval. It's doubtful that V. will sign anything that benefits the ejido.

There's going to be a press conference in Guadalajara on Tuesday, with members of the ejido and several diputados (local and federal). Stay tuned.
