| Flat tire just coming down the mountain towards Colima. Sharon is freaked out waving cars away as they come barreling around the curve. I've just come out of abdominal surgery and am not doing well with jack, truck tires, etc. Two young guys with a racey little car stop and do the whole tire change for us, me looking on with a mixed feeling of inadequateness and appreciation. They do take $200p with a smile. We make it into Colima feeling relieved and that evening we see them in their racey little car doing the turns downtown. We smile and wave at each other. |
