You only have the option of destroying your personal info if you pay for the upgraded service. I downloaded it and installed it and all it will do is log when and where your IP address was last logged onto the internet. So if your computer was stolen and they were able to log onto the internet from your lap top it won't show where your actual laptop is just where your IP (internet provider) is located. Mine is 90 miles from where I'm actually at. The only way you could find exactly where it is if it had a GPS chip in it like all of the new smart phones do. The IP for most of La Manzanilla that I have seen shows that it is in Manzanillo. To find out just enter your IP address It's shown at the top of any message you have sent on this board if you don't know what yours is. I uninstalled it I don't need more useless software on my computer. Great Idea if it really worked. |
