Chilly mornings!

Sometimes I wonder where I am when I walk outside in the morning and feel really chilly air assailing my weather-wimpy skin. I had to go back to 2005 statistics to find another March like the one we just had (also a La Nina year). Here are some stats for the first three months of 2011: January: average high temp: 80.4F/29C average low temp: 62.5F/16.7C February: high: 81.3F/27.5C low: 63.9F/17.7C March: high: 81.6F/27.5C low: 66.1F/18.9C April has started out the same - early yesterday morning - 62.5F/16.9C - today it was 64.5F/18.05C at 8 AM. Highest temp so far: 81.6F/27.5C March 2005 stats: avg. high: 82F/27.8C avg. low: 64F/17.7C Relatively low humidity was also a factor - in the 45 to 50% range during the coldest periods. I am really ready for some hot weather, even if it includes a hurricane or two.
