This is just off the top of my head, I put numbers next to each line so my errors can be corrected. Mexico land line 1 - Mexico land line to Mexico land line - same are code * just the number 2 - Mexico land line to Mexico land line - other area code * 01 + area code + number 3 - Mexico land line to US / Canada land line * 001 + area code + number 3.5 - Mexico land line to other country land line * 001 + country code + area code + number 4 - Mexico land line to Mexico cell phone - same area code * 044 + number 5 - Mexico land line to Mexico cell phone - different area code * 045 + number Mexico cell phone 6 - Mexico cell phone to Mexico land line - same area code * just the number 7 - Mexico cell phone to Mexico land line - different area code * area code + number 8 - Mexico cell phone to other country land line * not sure 9 - Mexico cell phone to Mexico cell phone - same area code * just the number 10 - Mexico cell phone to Mexico cell phone - different area code * area code + number 11 - Mexico cell phone to other country cell phone * not sure 12 - Calling into Mexico from land line 13 - US/Canada land line to Mexico land line * 011 + 52 + area code + number 14 - US/Canada land line to Mexico cell phone * 011 + 52 + 1 + number I think there may be a couple more cell phone combination's due to the different cell phone carriers in Mexico. I think there may be some variations depending on what pay phone you are using. This is one time, and perhaps the only time having only one land line phone company makes it easier to post dialing instructions. |
