I've seen these a few times before, but usually for the
Atlantic side. I think this one is because the weather will be so close to the coast at the time of development. NOAA has
been predicting these rainfall totals for a few days but the
actual location of these systems before they form is always
just a good guess. I'm pretty sure we'll get a LOT of rain
today or tomorrow because we're having our road fixed as
I write this - a good predictor of bad weather. I'll keep
watching for updates on 93 and will be interested to see
what more CNA has to say about it - right now they're mostly warning about heavy rains in Guerrero and Michoacan.

Last night's rain totalled only .32/inch - kind of disappointing after such a big show.
