The rain is back

Some mild thunderstorms and showers in the last few hours dropped 0.51" so far. There might be some more to come today and tomorrow. This link http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/tropic/real-time/tpw2/epac/main.html shows that the dryer air we've had over us the last few days is being replaced with much moister air. So the ability to rain is present; now it just needs the trigger. No sign of any tropical storm formation for us in the near future. Where did they all go? It's supposed to be peak hurricane time right now. |
