Rain coming this AM?

Before dawn we had a trace of rain with a little thunder, caused by a small red blob. But check out the big red blob heading up the coast this morning: http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/west/epac/flash-avn.html .

That might give us some more rain this morning. We also could use some cooling down. This morning it only got down to 83F/28.3C @85%, after yesterday's high of 91.5F/33C @75%. It's been feeling more like June than September! And there's still not much sign of any tropical storm formation right now.

PS, yesterday's high converts to a heat index of 113F/45C, for those who aren't actually here to experience how sweaty it is!

PPS, I think Deanna's temp/humidity sensor might be reading a little high on RH, which would jack up the heat index a few degrees. I'll look into this.
