This idea came about due to my friend's injury last winter. She had a tear in her knee, very painful along with major arthritis in that knee later resulting in a total knee replacement upon returning home. Anyway she could barely walk and as a result was stuck at home most of the time. Our yard was very long and getting to the street was also a problem and a gold card would have been perfect for her as she could have got around town more often. We did use a cab once a day so she could get out, but she would have liked to been out and about more than once a day. Since I live in Washington not Palm Springs, am not trying to make LM a Palm springs just trying to figure out a way to get around in a situation like we had last year. I had seen someone in Melaque driving one around town right before I left and thought that would be a good idea for those who have difficulty getting around.
