My understanding is the road that leads to the airport from 200 is underwater and it may take as long as 3 weeks for the water to subside. Flights are being re-routed to Colima and then people are being bused to Manzanillo. From there you would need to take a cab to the bridge walk across the bridge and catch another cab. I understand that the bridge is not damaged they are just not allowing traffic on it until it is checked out. The bridge could open anytime after that. That is what I have found out. If the water across the airport road recedes sooner the airport could open. I'm supposed to fly in on the 22nd on Alaska so I'm just going to hang in for awhile and see what happens. If I find out anything new I will post it.
