More news from Bea and Quatro Fleches: "Hi Folks , I am standing with my laptop on a concrete wall by the ocean outside a friends house who is the only phone line and internet in town , and they say it could be a week or more.... We are still in the process of cleaning up and will be for some time.... We heard the San Nichols River 20 minutes north is rising and only 3 meters below bridge, which was very very high up to start with, this will not be a problem for us but has caused massive flooding in that town....I have some photos which I will upload later so you can see some of the images ... But we are OK. We heard seven of the big palapas in Careyes blew off, and we hope our dear friend Jimmies, who just completed his amazing house survived...FA wants to paddle over but I think the ocean is still too rough.. So photos to come later or tomorrow, be well and thanks again for thought and good wishes..." |
