Chance of rain

Well, after a few thankfully sunny days to dry things out, some clouds and possible showers are approaching this afternoon.

The East Pacific GOES IR loop http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/west/epac/flash-avn.html
has been showing a large area of thunderstorms coming up the coast from the south all day. Most of it is offshore, but we could get some rain and maybe thunder this evening. Hopefully not too much, though!

PS, no more tropical storms looming out there for now.
