Everyone is having a slightly different experience this year. When we renewed our non-work permit FM2s earlier this month, we took everything just in case. This time they DID want our proof of income. All we have is investment statements (we had printed out copies online, not originals.) They grumbled, but accepted them. Yes they asked for our passport copies (1st page only.) Yes they wanted infantil-sized photos (3 front, 2 right side). No they didn't ask for our proof of residence (phone bill or electric bill.) Yes they did ask for the pre-registration form that we had completed and printed from their website. Maybe just the document code number would suffice if you have trouble printing, and maybe they would help you fill in the data in person if nothing else. They are usually very tolerant and helpful at the Manzanillo office. And remember the office has moved a few meters toward the west: the entry door now directly faces the parking lot entry gate. When we were there the Take-A-Number machine was unuseable, so we had to remember who we followed. I think everyone is being given a pick-up date 30 days after the submission date. Good luck, and file a report if you encounter any surprises! |
