We just arrived at our house on the beach just beside the lagoon. We drove in from Boca and the road is pretty good, just some bumps that might be a problem for a car with low clearance. I don't think a taxi would go there.

The only area with a tree still across the road is at the cemetary... you need to curve around it there, and drive on the sidewalk for 20 meters or so. Not a huge problem. No water on the road. Some people seemed to be clearing and making a big bonfire near there - getting ready for Dia de los Muertos?
