We just arrived in La Manz a couple days ago from Vallarta. The drive down took us about 3 hours from the old town, so add another hour from the airport.

The road was pretty good, only one spot where there was gravel, and that was only half a km or so. When going thru Chamela and a couple other spots, you can see a lot of trees down and water damage, but no water on the highway. Only a few potholes too, much better than we thought it would be.
