I am having my accountant go over everything so that I can put it in a contract for all 4 of the issues included in the severance pay in a percentage format. I am then taking that and a contract to an attorney and have it written so that it can protect me in the future - or get advice on what to do.
Sorry to say there is no way to say if this will work or not. I had a witness with me to testify that for the last 3 months what the time and pay were and the maid had signed a time card. Previous to that all the records of amounts paid and time worked had been kept. I give her a written schedule each month - this I was told did not matter.
