Relax. We have been coming to LaM for 14 years and have seen a total of one in the ocean - the one a few days ago.We have heard of others over the years. All sightings tend to revolve around the end of the rainy season in those years when the Lagoon breaks open to the ocean. It broke open this year due to the heavy rains caused by Hurricane Jova. It is no longer open to the ocean. These crocs dislike salt water and are out of the ocean in a day or two. Tim is right about keeping your dog on a leash when near the lagoon if it tends to wander.
