Anything can happen once there is a reward. Wrong people accused, the burglar accusing someone else, or something worse. "Trouble and unease" could be the least of your problems once large rewards are offered. I still say it's a bad idea. Better would be to lock your doors at night and install protection bars. These are hard times for a lot of people. There is not much work and virtually there was none over the summer months. I think it best to act wisely and close up properly if you want to have less worries.
