David, thanks for posting this great shot! If you wouldn´t mind e-mailing it to me, I´d really appreciate it. Still haven´t had time to check my photos and video. I will always cherish this magical memory that was formed today and I have a strong hunch that the kids will, too. Not only did they get the opportunity to get out on the water and learn this fantastic sport, they also filled up about 10 jumbo bags of beach trash. We alternated the paddle boarders with the beach patrol and it worked flawlessly. I hope to be able to volunteer more of my time and services in the future to offer more of these experiences for our local youth who would not otherwise ever be able to have them. I´m working with the idea of forming a conservation and eco-adventure club for local youth, and this was the first experiment. They´ve already asked me when the next one will be... |
