| Why has no one ever told us that we owe a singe centavo each year to the ejido? We paid them a lot of money up front for the right to occupy the property legally in perpetuity. They have never asked for any money in taxes since then, and our realtor never told us that it would be due. The previous two owners of the house never paid a nickel to the ejido. So can someone elucidate? This history of not paying goes back 11 years with three owners of the house. Thanks. |
