Water Bills

Speaking of taxes, everybody who draws water from the town's piped water must pay their bill at the bike shop in January. You can pay by the month or by the year, and rates are based on the size of your house. Pools are extra.

Apparently some people, including foreigners, don't pay it. Why wouldn't you? You receive an essential product at a very good price.
