 The two boats on the left, both Lasers, starting the 2010 LaManzanilla Regatta Laser sailboat For Sale. The Laser is a class sailboat for one or two people. It is 13' - 4" long, 135 lbs. and has a single sail that slips onto a mast with no stays. It uses a dagger board in the center, kick up rudder and is one of the most popular single-handed dinghies in the world. Carry car top or in pick-up. Advanced sailors will love the performance in big winds. Beginners will find it to be a gentle teacher in lighter air. It is easy to right by one person. The boat comes with a Seatech beach dolly that is aluminum tubing with nylon parts and large balloon tires. I have launched and sailed it independently for a few years In LaManzanilla. There are about four of them on the beach here. A laser was first across the finish line in the LaManzanilla Regatta last year. Sail and mast have been mended but will still serve for a lot of miles.
