| If you like really hot and humid weather, come in August or later. Otherwise come in May or as close to May as possible. We usually live here until June 16th when our renter on Lake Chapala leaves, freeing up our other home. The weather is great. We have lived in our home here during all 12 months and August, Sept and Oct can become stifling for many people (D being the exception). When the bay breezes shut down sometimes during those months (especially October, except not this last year) it can get a little brutal without AC, which I hope we all strive to avoid using. Any month of the year can be delightful here if you are only coming for a week or two or three. It is the accumulation of hot and humid over a long time that gets to a lot of us who aren't short-term vacationers. Come and find out for yourself! |
