Did you ask the banqueros at Banamex in Melaque to help you before you left? They can usually make your card work. The bottom line, of course, is that Banamex installed new state-of-the-art ATMs in Melaque after testing them using only Banamex-chip cards. Typical. A fiasco ensued except for those who had/have Banamex cards. It is still not resolved, making Banamex employees look like total idiots yet again.
