| Earthquakes are not predictable. Multiple small earthquakes 1) release pressure build-up and reduce the chance of a larger tremor, or 2) signal a greater and greater increase in pressure thus being a predictor of a much larger tremor, or 3) either one of the above, or 4) none of the above. It is a good idea to keep water in your car, especially if you own a dog. It is also a good idea to get rid of it when it turns green (not the dog, the water). Now that I've opined, it doesn't mean that we aren't going to get a big one any time soon. It just doesn't mean that we are, either. |
