There is lots of info on the internet about why not to hatch the eggs(they have become a very invasive species in Florida), but since iguanas are native we don't have a problem with having more of them. So lets go for it! The eggs need a temperature of 86 degrees, half buried in soft sand and protected from critters that would love to eat them. This shouldn't be to hard with our temperature raising every day. It can take up to 120 days. I'll go over and see if I can get someone to stick their arm into the hole and see if the eggs(and how many) are actually there. More later. |
