Mike, which police, what phone number, are there even police in L.M. in the middle of the night? It's not like you can just call 911. Shane, Patti has a huge soul, but she is a small gringa in a sparsely populated area. I'd be afraid of getting a frying pan thrown at me. As for getting the extended family together for a confrontation... right, that's so easy for the new gringa in the neighborhood. I don't know what I'd do, but it can't be the 1st time known child abuse has happened there, the community must have some way of dealing with it. Ask the locals what can be done. Anyone else with ideas or experience please chime in, this is important! Lyn |
