Fabio is far to the SW of us and continuing out to sea to the WNW. It should hit Cat 1 hurricane strength for a day or two before weakening and dissipating. No threat to us, and no rain coming to us from it either. This is my last report on this one.

Nothing else in the breeding grounds right now.

If the high pressure ridge that has been in place over western Mexico the last several days stays around, it will keep any future storms tracking well offshore also. In technical terms, it's our "magic force field."
