It was a very pleasant, breezy, showery, almost cool weekend, with 0.60" of rain since Saturday AM. Yes! The rain was only slightly associated with the remnants of Ernesto (which re-developed into Invest 94E, then into Tropical Storm Hector and is now way out to our west heading away.) The rain was just falling out of the widespread super-moist air mass over our coastline; you couldn't even see anything on the GOES IR loop while it was raining because it was warm low-altitude rainfall. No more named storms in the forecast right now, but there is another Invest (95E) to the SE that might threaten us in a couple days: ![]() |
