For those of you who were interested in this topic, I have just discovered that WestJet is now offering weekly flights from Canada to Manzanillo starting in November. At this time, flights from B.C. need to overnight in Edmonton or Calgary, and they are not as cheap as Comox to PV. But it is a start.

Also, WestJet flights to PV can now be had on certain days cheaper than Alaska. Shop online and look for the deals.
