I am intrigued.

If you were in the USA, Canada, or Australia and you were discussing obtaining the finite or limited land use rights from the local Indian or First Nations group -- you would be using the term "leaseholder" not buyer.

Why are you trying to portray the communal lands owned by the La Manzanilla Ejido as anything different from the above?

If you are, like me, a foreign national, the Mexican constitution is not on your "side" -- at least not within 50 kilometers of the ocean.
