I guess I refer to them as "buyers" as they are on the other side of the transaction from the self-styled "sellers." Seems pretty straightforward.

No, I do not think the MX Constitution is on our side, nor should it be. It does allow, however, for the ejido to assign portions of its communal property to indviduals in the ejido. Said individuals, in my limited understanding, can do a lot of what they please with "their" land, including transfer the exclusive use of it to another.

Other point: There is a well-worn path to foreign "ownership" within 50kn of the ocean via the fideocomiso program. It has worked well, and continues to work well, in PV, Mazatlan, Acapulco, etc. It does not work with ejido-owned property (such as most of LM), until the property has been regularized.

Is your understanding any different than this? If so, please correct me.
