I'm not sure what you mean by "a little more" re: the fare. It is at least twice as much for a large vechicle as a regular taxi which only will fit 3 people and luggage.

If this your first journey, trust me........ spend the 'extra' money. You'll be glad you did. While the road from PV to LM is a good road by MX standards, it is two lane and has many spots that are curved.
