Judy, I was just coming onto the Board to do the same. In the households of the fortunate in Canada, turkeys are in the oven as we speak; yams are bubbling away, and pumpkin pies are on the sideboard cooling while whipping cream chills, awaiting the attack of the beaters! The wise eat breakfast early, and lunch is light or even skipped as we anticipate the "the groaning board" and the table surrounded by loving and grateful family and friends. I join Judy and Peter in wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving and look forward to sharing the American one with you. :o) |
