Hi - I recommend the Honda dealer in Manzanillo. The service is wonderful, they are very easy to deal with and will go with you to register your new/used car in Jalisco (in Cihuatlan). The FIT is a super car for here -- about 14 km to the ltr. -- and enough cargo space for just about everything, given the way the seats fold up and down. As for used cars, as others have said, you are better off buying one in the states (I think the warranty on a certified Honda would be honored in Mexico) because used cars are a lot cheaper. Since you own a business and may have an FM 2, you should buy a car exactly 10 years old so you can legalize it when you bring it in. (With an FM2 you are prohibited from driving a foreign-plated vehicle.) |
