Willy and Yolanda - so sorry for your loss! What ever happened to the increased police presence that was so enthused about just before we left in March? The renovations for the police station, more "tourista" police present in LM, a possible police vehicle? Every season it seems, we have to rally the town residents to get the attention of the major to have a town meeting, to get more promises of action and money (at the end of the season) and then nothing happens until the next season when crime starts building up again and the cycle repeats! Isn't there some way to get some continuity so as to move forward instead of constant repetition? |
