I'm a CBC Radio journalist, based in Victoria but working from Puerto Vallarta at the moment. I would be interested in hearing the perspective on this issue from anyone living in the Melaque/Barra de Navidad/La Manzanilla area - particularly anyone from my home base of Vancouver Island of the west coast of B.C.
