Yes it is slick and we need to slow down and be careful on the areas where they have just applied
oil and then gravel. This is the method they use to put a hard cap on the freshly paved road. That is why they do it in sections. After a few days the gravel is pressed into the road by the vehicles passing over it and the road surface will last longer.
