We also experienced an unpleasant situation with a woman and her German Shepard each day on the beach a few weeks ago. The German Shepard seemed to be mostly non-aggressive but exuberant with its interaction with other people and dogs on the beach. That was until the dog tried to attack a beach vendor friend of ours. To the woman's credit she found other venues on the beach to enjoy that removed the dog from other confrontations.
