Yes, we just had the exact same thing happen to us. Banamex froze our account....no money in or out. |
They said the main branch in Mexico City mailed us a request for 'more information' about something we don't know....because we never got the letter. Then, because we never responded, they froze our account.
They have our email address and phone number and I usually do business on the inside at a teller's window so they could have just asked for more info.
Now, in theory, it will take at least 3 weeks to reactivate our account. We told them we'd like to close our account and remove our money and were told that if we did that we'd never be allowed to have another Banamex account.....ever.
Has anyone seen my Book of Mantras?
Does the book store have a spare?
