Difference in the number of birds?

I used to hear lots of birds singing in the morning, now I don't hear them at all. I didn't think that much about it until last night when someone who lives in Boca de Iguanas said the same thing. This is not to place blame on anything just a kind of survey to see if anyone else has noticed a difference in the number of birds.
