I took this photo tonight with my iPad at one of our favourite taquerias on the jardin in La Manzanilla: "La Chona". Karla, 21, is a server there with her sister Mariela, working alongside her mother Leticia, and her father Raymundo. (Try the quesadilla con chorizo - rico!) As well as the taqueria, Karla's father owns the La Chona carniceria on the jardin, and her grandfather Juan owns the tienda across from Jolanda's. Karla is a hard-worker and very friendly. She is planning to study to be a pastry chef.
