In La Manzanilla there is a growing number of people starting the process of privatizing their property. Some have completed the process and have title registered with a Mexican citizen. Most of these people intend to go to bank trust, although I cannot say I've ever talked to anyone has has one. My understanding is that this part of the process is cumbersome, slow and in need of a few greased wheels.
