Those are some nice iPhone 4 shots. Mine is an iPhone 2 but I see
your point.

If camera quality did not matter they wouldn't keep improving the quality
of them each year. It's a combination of photographer's eye (mind),
patience, persistence, sometimes preparation, camera quality, and even luck.

Basically the stove analogy is poor. I have had some excellent food prepared
from over a campfire i.e. no stove at all. But you can't take a photo without
a camera.

Also Dave asked what kind of camera (a fair question) he didn't say
"you must have had a good camera".
