Sorry everyone that I've been out of touch. Of course some interesting weather WOULD come along right when I'm travelling and then having computer troubles here at my parents' place! I realy appreciate your appreciation of my normally more timely weather posts. And thanks to Will for filling in on the rain gauging, and to Deanna for sending us a storm report just like the old days... Hoefully I've got this PC working now and will be more in touch with all the neat weather down there. From what I can see on the GOES-West IR loop (http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/west/epac/flash-avn.html) Hurricane Cosme has stirred up thunderstorms and unsettled rainy weather all across western and central Mexico. Enjoy the nice rains, and hopefully it knows when enough is enough.
