It is with sadness that I announce the passing on June 8 at her home in Devon, Alberta of Debra Stanton, who spent the winters in La Manzanilla in her little casita south of el jardin with her partner, Hilary Stanton, who died in a tragic car accident on their way down to Mexico from Canada in November 2010. Debbie as well as Hilary were featured in the documentary film , When the Devil Knocks, about Hilary's healing journey, which was shown as a fundraiser for the clinic at Casa de Luz.
